WE SERVE LOCAL and GLOBAL NEEDS
During limited service opportunities, we volunteer at the Elburn Food Pantry. On the First Thursday of the month we send volunteers to distribute food to the clients in the Kaneland School District. We serve about 30 clients in the Community Center. Three people are needed each month. To Volunteer speak to Carol Alfrey.
What Mission is to us!
Our mission field is anywhere beyond ourselves. Some mission happens within our building as we have always been a community center for gatherings small and large. We founded a child care center, now housed in the old school building with the Library, post office, Township office and bank. Through monthly mission projects we reach 12 organizations with our collections, time and prayers.
There are many other local missions which our church members participate in individually. Beautiful U is a retail shop in Elburn which supports Teenage Moms. Animal rescue places abound in our area. Check out Casey’s Safe Haven. There’s so much we can do to serve God and neighbor.
